The role

Our client is a leading educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality training and education. Their Construction Department delivers practical and theoretical skills to prepare students for the construction industry. They are looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Technician to join their team and support the development of the next generation of construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for construction workshops.
  • Support teaching staff during practical sessions, ensuring health and safety compliance at all times.
  • Provide technical assistance to students, demonstrating proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the workshops.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on tools and machinery.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies for workshop sessions.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and promote safe working practices.

  • Experience in construction or a related technical field (e.g., carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in construction.
