Category Manager| South Yorkshire| £41,500-£44,700| Permanent | Hybrid

Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation in South Yorkshire, to recruit a Category Manager on a permanent basis. The role is ideal for an individual with experience of delivering and managing projects within Public Sector procurement. This role will sit within the Capital Works category e.g. Construction. The role offers a flexible approach to hybrid working with an impressive benefits package; with the requirement to attend the office a minimum of one day per week, and to attend onsite meetings when needed (service driven).

Role:• Run full end to end tender processes• To lead on low value and high value procurements • Lead/facilitate other staff to ensure effective service delivery and delivery of projects• Collaborating with key stakeholders efficiently • Provide contract management support and advise

Individual:• CIPS qualification is preferred• Knowledge and understanding of Public Contract Regulations • Extensive experience navigating public sector frameworks, compiling contracts, running procurement processes
