Project Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist civil engineering company who are looking to appointment a contract Project Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly professional company and work on interesting, complex projects for major clients.

The Project Manager will be responsible for: 

• Managing projects from site start up through to delivery
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, budget and the required standard
• Supervising and controlling civil engineering works
• Working closely with site delivery teams, site managers and contract specialists
• Supporting and managing foremen, site supervisors and specialist subcontractors
• Working closely with the commercial team to ensure relevant subcontract orders are competitive and controlled

The Project Manager will need: 

• Previous experience of managing civil engineering projects
• Technical experience and qualifications in civil engineering
• Experience of managing costs and budgets
• Excellent team management and communication skills
• Experience of working to deadlines
• Customer facing experience
• A willingness to be based on site 5 days a week often away from home (fully expensed)
• Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK although a central location or the South West would be advantageous
