About the Role

We are seeking an EHCP Coordinator to join our Additional Learning Support Team. This role involves ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice for learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP).

The successful candidate will collaborate with academic and support staff, monitor learner progression, and represent the organization in EHCP reviews. A strong background in SEND support, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professionalism are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate processes to ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Chair EHCP reviews and prepare associated reports.
  • Monitor the performance and progression of learners with EHCPs.
  • Support transitions, liaise with external stakeholders, and contribute to safeguarding.
  • Work flexibly, occasionally including evenings and weekends.
Requirements

Essential:

  • Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding processes and multi-agency work.
  • Specialist qualification in a relevant area.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Current First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
