The EHCP Coordinator will work with the Additional Learning Support Team, academic and support staff to ensure compliance with the SEND code of practice. They will coordinate processes and procedures for learners with a Education Health and Care Plan.Main Duties of the EHCP Coordinator:

  • Chair EHCP reviews and represents the organisation on behalf of Local Authorities
  • Prepare EHCP reports and reviews
  • Monitor the performance and progression of learners with EHCPs
  • Ensure that EHC plans are accessible to appropriate staff
  • Work flexibly to meet individual learner needs and attendance

Role Requirements:

  • Experience supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Experience and understanding of making safeguarding referrals
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Understanding of additional learning support within an educational or training context
  • A proven ability to plan, prepare & implement support programmes/assessments as and when required.
