Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading heavy industry manufacturer to recruit Vacuum Furnace Engineers to join their new team based in Rotherham.
Working Hours- 4 on 4 off days and nights (2 days and 2 nights) Salary – Very competitive, to be discussed further at screening stage BenefitsÂ
- 25 days holiday (April – March), plus Bank Holidays (even with 4 on 4 off pattern)

Duties of the Vacuum Furnace Engineer will include:Â
- Work to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental policy, associated standards and procedures
- Providing first line maintenance/breakdown
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Facilitate lean ways of working to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Leading, coaching and developing other employees
- Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working
- Ensure that all parts required are booked out correctly
We are keen to speak with Vacuum Furnace Engineers with the following:
- HNC/HND/NVQ qualified in an electrical or Mechanical engineeringÂ
- Ideally electrical experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment due to nature of the business
- Practical Mechanical / Electrical hands-on skills
- Good fault finding and problem solving skills
- Good knowledge of continuous improvement programmes, particularly planned maintenance activities
