Finance Business Partner Up to £70k Rotherham6 Month FTC Elevation Senior Finance are currently working exclusively with a fantastic business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their team on a full time 6 Month Contract basis.Responsibilities:

  • Support and challenge the business to ensure the right decisions are being taken to maximise short and long term value
  • Support the business to identify/generate growth and savings to deliver business performance targets
  • Prepare deep dive analysis, draw conclusions and present recommendations
  • Enhance the business partnering experience by providing valuable financial insights and improving reporting quality and interaction
  • Support, prepare and review large tenders for key customers and suppliers
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance
  • Take full ownership of any assigned P&L, including investigation 
  • Work with the business to produce rolling forecasts, annual budgets and strategic planning processes 
  • Challenge and review business forecasts, reporting on key risk and opportunities
  • Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of all group deliverables
  • Delivery of all group reporting submissions from the FP&R team
  • Take a lead role in the finance contribution to quarterly cost review
  • Partner with Business & Business Improvement managers on productivity
  • Contribute to productivity ideas generation and ensuring accurate logging of p&l savings

Person Specification:

  • (CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified)
  • Previous experience in a commercial, business facing role is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both financial and less-financial audiences of all levels of a multi-national organisation
  • Advanced modelling, analytical and numerical reasoning skills 
  • Good knowledge of SAP
