We are working with a brilliant Multi Academy Trust for a Temporary School Finance Manager role, located in Rotherham. As Temporary Finance Manager, you will join a highly ambitious organisation while they're seeking to appoint on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the COO in managing financial operations across the organisation and individual sites.Collaborate with business managers to establish standards and best practices in finance, policies, and procedures.Work with internal stakeholders to achieve optimal financial results and enhance social value.Assist the executive, leadership, and central teams in fostering an inclusive culture.Exemplify integrity and commitment to the organisation's vision and values.Develop systems and procedures for efficient, effective, and accurate financial management.Aid the COO in compiling information for external reports.Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.Monitor and control performance using the agreed budget to ensure best value.Conduct month-end reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will have a recent DBS check on the update service or be open to completing a new DBS application. Previous experience working in a school environment.Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA etc.)Funding and stakeholder knowledge Key IT Skills Excel & SageDriving licence required to travel between sitesWhat you'll get in return
