Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Food Manufacturing Associate candidates to join our brand new factory producing snacks for Grupo Bimbo in the Mexborough - South Yorkshire area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing and packaging processes.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6-2, 2-10 rotating however, until the factory starts production, hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5. This job will also require some applicants to travel to the USA for 3 weeks for training purposes.
Responsibilities of a Food Manufacturing Associate
- Operate machinery and equipment in the food production process
- Adhere to strict food safety and quality standards
- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks on machinery
- Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety
- Assist in packaging and labelling of finished products
- Training new associates key skills
- Demonstrate safe working practices following all appropriate safety procedures
- Conducting quality safety checks ensuring product meets specification
Desirable Skills of a Food Manufacturing Associate
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Mechanical aptitude for operating machinery
- Familiarity with food production processes
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Understanding of food safety regulations
