Are you passionate about food safety and quality? We're looking for a QA Auditor to join a food manufacturing business ona 9-month FTC covering a maternity leave. You'll ensure the business meet all customer and legislative requirements and be involved in conducting audits, managing corrective actions, and maintaining critical documentation.You’ll also support process controls, food safety measures, and participate in taste panel sessions. This role is on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern over 2 days and 2 nights (12-hours). The business are looking for someone who can start ASAP. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent process and quality audits.
  • Manage corrective/preventative actions and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain and organize documentation for internal processes.
  • Assist during customer audits and complete required checks.
  • Ensure food safety, shelf-life testing, and allergen control procedures are followed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in quality assurance, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to training.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety risks, and auditing procedures.
