We are looking for a ABCF Flexible Team Member for a contract based in Rotherham on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Job description - ABCF Flexible Team Member
Our Client makes critical turbine blades that go into their world-leading jet engines. It means they're at the cutting-edge of casting and automated technology. So, forget what you think you know about 'factory' environments - this is a high-tech, modern space you'll enjoy being in every day.
As an ABCF Flexible Team Member you will be responsible for:
- Can follow processes and detailed instructions
- Take responsibility for your own development
- Can support colleagues and work well moving from team to team
- Always look for ways to improve
- Take pride in producing good work
- Are reliable, adaptable and safety conscious
- Are comfortable working a mix of day and night shifts.
What we require from the candidate:
- Follow technical instructions and operate high-tech robotic machinery
- Craft patterns in wax ready for casting
- Measure and check blades to ensure they reach our high standards
- Gather data using digital apps
- Contribute to production plans
- Help us find ways to improve our processes and reduce costs
- There's a lot of attention to detail involved, but there's also plenty of variety in what you do each day and a great sense of achievement at the end of it
