We are looking to recruit a CAD Technician, who will work collaboratively with engineers on a variety of projects, offering support across engineering drawings, managing the bills of materials, whilst also maintaining the engineering databases.Responsibilities of the CAD Technician:

  • Provide support with CAD based drawings to engineers.
  • Manage the document storage system and update the system with drawings and manuals.
  • Remove any redundant drawings from the system and replace where necessary.
  • Offer support and guidance to other CAD users on site.

What we are looking for in the CAD Technician:

  • A proactive team player, who is comfortable working with senior management on a variety of projects.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • The confidence to offer training and development to colleagues.
  • Organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Previous experience within a similar role using AutoCAD would be ideal.
