Academics are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor in Rotherham to start working with our client partner schools as soon as possible.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is perfect for someone who is degree-level trained and considering a career in teaching. It also suits individuals with experience working with children or teenagers previously in settings such as tutoring, summer camps, youth work, or extracurricular clubs for example. This position allows you to work directly in schools across Worksop and the surrounding areas, gaining valuable classroom experience whislt being paid.

Key responsibilities:

Supervise and cover pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
Ensure students are engaged and set high expectations to promote positive learning.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policy, creating a safe and productive learning environment.
Communicate with staff members; report on student progress and pass on important messages.
Uphold the school's safeguarding policy - safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.
