We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to join our team, helping students reach their full potential through inspiring teaching, assessment, and support. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering excellent teaching, preparing students for progression, and ensuring their academic and pastoral care. You will also engage in essential administrative duties and contribute to the overall success and development of your course area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons and assess students on a range of courses, ensuring excellent teaching and learning.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, academic progress, and pastoral care.
  • Prepare students for the next level of study and the world of work, including promoting employability skills.
  • Collaborate with other staff to support students through their learning journey, including liaising with parents/guardians for 16-18 learners.
  • Provide individualised support for students and monitor their progress, setting SMART targets to enable their success.
  • Contribute to the self-assessment process and ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance standards.
  • Promote work experience opportunities and support student recruitment.

  • Experience of teaching and/or assessing in your subject area is desirable.
