Location: Rotherham Hospital, Moorgate Road

Pay Rates: £17.69

We have exciting opportunities in Rotherham for Operating Department Practitioner’s to join the bank.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to work within our busy theatres across the NHS Professionals Bank Network.

What you’ll be responsible for:

•The assessment of care needs, planning, delivering, and evaluating a high standard of nursing care.

• You will be an accomplished communicator who contributes, implements, and evaluates clinical and professional standards.

•The proficient delivery of care to patients.

•Ensuring safe administration and documentation of drugs in accordance with HCPC guidelines and Trust policies.

•Ensuring accurate records are kept in accordance with HCPC guidelines and Trust policies.•Contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department, through the acceptance of agreed additional responsibilities.•Being an effective member of a Multidisciplinary Team.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You’ll have the following qualification/experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an Operating Department Practitioner within the last 3years.
  • Current registration with HCPC
  • Experience working in challenging environments.

Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

  • Relevant Qualifications

Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable
