Are you an experienced EHS professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EHS Manager to join a dynamic team in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in overseeing and managing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within a leading organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote awareness of EHS risks, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure EHS risk controls are effective and compliant with UK regulations.
- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents to improve safety and environmental performance.
- Provide guidance on health and safety risks to various teams
- Conduct and advise on risk assessments for company activities.
- Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures, including fire safety and evacuation plans.
- Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
- Work with third-party EHS consultants to align with organisational standards.
- Experience working in a practical EHS role
- Understanding of UK EHS regulations and ability to work in various environments, including construction sites.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Competence with software tools like MS Office.
