 As an English Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to impart your knowledge and expertise to our learners, influencing not only their individual academic success but also impacting the wider community.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE English to both full-time students and adults.
- Utilize both well-equipped onsite classrooms and our virtual learning environment, including Google Classroom, to facilitate learning.
- Develop creative resources to inspire outstanding learning.
- Monitor and track learner progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Minimum of A Level (or equivalent) qualification in English; degree qualification in English or a related subject is highly desirable.
- Either possess a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards obtaining one.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students through a combination of practical, theoretical, and digital teaching methods.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Motivation and commitment to continuous professional development and to achieving strategic and organisational objectives.
