We are keen to speak with experienced IT Technician to join our clients team. If you are a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical and customer service skills, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong 1st and 2nd line support experience and a passion for technology.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st/2nd line technical support, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues
- Maintain and support Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, and Active Directory environments
- Manage and maintain SQL Server environments
- Perform enhanced networking tasks, including DHCP, DNS, and routing
- Assist with PBX management and maintenance
- Support device management through Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune
- Manage virtual environments using VMware
- Handle backup solutions and data storage
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving IT issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to deliver IT solutions and improvements
- Organise and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently
Skill & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a 1st/2nd line support role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, and Active Directory
- Strong understanding of SQL Server, networking basics, DHCP, DNS, and routing
- Experience with PBX management/maintenance
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, device management through Intune, and Office 365
- Experience in VMware and virtual environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to IT challenges
