Reed Business Support are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing insurance company to recruit for a Claims Handler based Rotherham. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in motor trade claim insurance or liability and property insurance. As a Claims Handler, you will manage and process insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions while providing exceptional customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and process a variety of insurance claims, including motor trade, liability, and property insurance
  • Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage and liability
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and related documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process
  • Identify and report any potential fraud or suspicious activity
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in handling motor trade claim insurance or liability and property insurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Acturis Software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
  • A full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle (Preferred)
