I am instructed with a role for an employment lawyer at the 5PQE+ level on a part-time basis at a leading HR consultancy based in South Yorkshire but whose main mode of working is remote. Due to a really impressive period of growth having turned over £700,000 after only 2 years in operation, my client has ambitious further plans for growth and is aiming to turnover £1million within the next couple of years.

My client is looking for a qualified solicitor with previous experience of employment law matters (preferably respondent focused work) who can come in to provide direct assistance to the numerous retained and ad hoc clients that this organisation has on their books. At the moment, there is a growing need for a solicitor with the capacity and authority to advise and sign off on settlement agreements in order to prevent outsourcing and the successful candidate should expect to be closely involved in settlement agreement work as a main part of the role. In addition to this, this organisation engages in advisory commercial work for and on behalf of its clients, and with this appointment there is the potential for the successful candidate to conduct their own litigation and advocacy on any disputes that may subsequently arise.

This opportunity offers uncapped growth and progression opportunities and could even lead to the successful candidate being offered shares in the business as it continues to grow. In addition to high quality work and unlimited potential for further development, my client is very welcoming of remote working and would be interested in speaking with candidates looking for part-time work on a remote basis (the organisation is primarily based in South Yorkshire and on occasions when any travel is required, this can be expenses back to the business).

My client will consider candidates who would be looking for a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 FTE.

If this opportunity is of interest to you, please contact Samuel Higgins at Hays Legal (/).
