Job Title: Legal Secretary - CommercialLocation: Rotherham.Salary: £22,000 - £24,000.Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Legal SecretaryWe are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary with a strong background in Commercial Law, ideally with exposure to Commercial Litigation, to join the growing Sheffield office of a distinguished niche commercial law firm.In this role, you will need exceptional secretarial skills, combined with the ability to efficiently manage workflow and provide proactive, enthusiastic, and professional support.The firm offers a collaborative, supportive work environment with flexibility around working days and hours, along with a range of excellent benefits including car parking and a performance-based bonus structureKey Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a team of fee earners, ideally with experience at the partner level. Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, either from dictation or by drafting independently, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Maintain and manage multiple Outlook inboxes, calendars, contacts, and coordinate the filing and organisation of client files and folders. Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute. Assist with business development activities, including the coordination of business travel, accommodation, and itineraries. Step in to support the team during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of service and seamless operations. Exhibit excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence in all interactions.Key Qualifications:Proven experience as a legal secretary in a commercial environment, particularly supporting senior fee earners. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
