CRA is excited to announce an opportunity to join a reputable law firm's dynamic and fast-paced Immigration Department as a Legal Secretary. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our team of fee earners, providing essential secretarial and administrative assistance. This is a part-time position, offering flexibility with three working days per week.As a Legal Secretary within the Immigration Department, your role will involve a broad range of responsibilities designed to keep the department running efficiently and smoothly. Your duties will include:Secretarial and Administrative Support: You will be responsible for performing various secretarial tasks, including digital audio typing, ensuring that documents and communications are accurately transcribed in a timely manner. File Management: You will play an integral role in managing the department's files, handling the opening and closing of files, ensuring all necessary documents are filed appropriately, and maintaining an organized and easily accessible filing system. Liaising with Third Parties: You will be tasked with booking interpreters and coordinating with other external parties, ensuring smooth communication and logistical arrangements are made as required. Client Interaction: A key part of this role is dealing with clients both over the phone and in person. You will ensure that all client interactions are professional and efficient, creating accurate and detailed file notes after each conversation or meeting. General Administrative Tasks: In addition to the core responsibilities, you will assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and other ad-hoc duties as needed to support the team. Reception Cover: Occasionally, you will be required to provide ad-hoc reception cover, ensuring that visitors and calls are handled professionally and efficiently.
