Elevation Recruitment Group is thrilled to partner with one of Rotherham’s leading employers to recruit a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager. This high-impact role is critical in shaping and delivering the strategic sourcing strategy within a key business unit, directly influencing the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of procurement professionals, including a Procurement Manager and Senior Buyers
- Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with business priorities
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders to integrate procurement strategies with strategic goals
- Drive year-on-year cost savings and productivity targets
- Foster supplier relationships to maximize value, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks
- Stay ahead of market trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to secure competitive advantages
- Promote change, challenge traditional approaches, and champion new processes and innovations
About You:
- 8+ years in senior procurement roles within large, national, or global organisations
- Experience of holding a spend portfolio in excess of £100m+
- Degree-level qualification (MSc/MBA preferred) and/or CIPS accreditation
- Strong leadership, strategic sourcing expertise, and a proven track record of driving impactful change and building high-performing teams
- Proven track record of delivering results ideally within a large networked international company
