Elevation Recruitment a delighted to be recruiting for a Production Administrator on behalf of our client, a thriving manufacturing business based in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production department.

The ideal candidate will provide efficient administrative support, manage resource and ensure accurate data is available to help the team keep manufacturing projects on track.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Administrator:

  • Provide administrative support to the production team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels, production reports, and quality control data
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of production tasks and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Create accurate weekly and monthly reports 
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies 
  • Assist the warehouse with the posting and delivery of finished goods 
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed
  • Comply with all health & safety and environmental requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a background in production data and reporting
  • Proficiency in Windows, especially Excel, and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of production processes and inventory management is advantageous
