As a Multi Skilled Lead Shift Engineer you will report into the Site Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for the Engineers on shift.

Description

As a Multi Skilled Lead Shift Engineer you will ensure the plants, equipment is maintained in a safe and optimum operational condition capable of producing products in the quality and quantity required to satisfy customer requirements. Along with developing a continuous improvement working environment and culture.

The four main duties and responsibilities of your role will be:

  • Safety
  • Management/ Supervisory
  • Engineering, Maintenance and Projects
  • Measure of Effectiveness

Profile

  • Qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline to a higher level (HNC Level 4, Ideally Level 5).
  • Fully competent in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
  • Plus 3 years' experience in the Corrugated Industry or FMCG Industry is preferred especially involving modern high-speed Corrugators but is not essential.
  • Good knowledge and experience of health and safety regulations and working practices.
  • People management experience ideally a team of multi-disciplined engineers and practical experience in supervisory/managerial capacity.

Job Offer

  • Salary of £48,995
  • Current shift pattern is a 12 hours shift working across days and night, on a 36 hour working week.
