Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

We are looking for positive, enthusiastic people who have excellent communication skills, are team-spirited and have excellent attention to detail

Our client is a local, privately owned manufacturer of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture who are looking to make an addition to their Quality Department team. The company has been established for over 50 years and offers job stability and career progression

Duties:

  • Checking items of furniture such as doors or flat pack components for damages or quality issues (such as scratches or dents in the paintwork)
  • Checking fittings, ensuring the correct quantities are in the allocated packages
  • Inspecting bought out product against purchase specifications/drawings/samples
  • Stock checks on pallets
  • Using Word, Excel and company database to record information and search stock-items

This role will be suited to someone who is:

  • Willing to learn, enjoys working in a small team (within a large organisation)
  • Enjoys responsibility and takes pride in their work
  • Has particular attention to detail
