Maintenance Shift Supervisor

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to join an heavy engineering company based in Rotherham. Salary: £59,800 Shifts - 4 on 4 off 

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor will be responsible for a multi-skilled team of technicians, focussed on reducing downtime, improving plant performance, and driving long-term reliability.

Duties of the Maintenance Shift Supervisor will include:

• Minimise plant downtime and diagnose and remedy equipment
• Ensure all staff have a workflow planned for their shift 
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities
• Identify opportunities for capital investment
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Ensure all plant and equipment adhere to all relevant legislation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

We are keen to speak with Maintenance Shift Supervisor / Maintenance Team Leaders / Maintenance Supervisors with the following:

• Engineering Degree qualified
• Apprentice trained in a relevant vocation
• Proven experience in a heavy engineering environment
• A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical maintenance processes
• Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role within a heavy industrial setting
• In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery and systems, with experience in fault diagnosis and repair
