We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Manager to join a thriving food manufacturing business. This is a fantastic chance to play a pivotal role in driving operational success, ensuring production targets are met, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights
Key Responsibilities of the Production Shift Manager:
- Lead and manage a team of production staff
- Oversee the daily operations of your shift, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Monitor and report on production KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions
- Collaborate with other departments, including planning, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
- Troubleshoot production issues promptly, minimising downtime and ensuring a ‘right first time’ approach
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a food manufacturing environment
- Strong people management skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a high-pressure environment
- A focus on health, safety, and quality standards
