Assistant Buyer – Rotherham - £28,000 - £35,000

Elevation Recruitment group are proud to be working with a rapidly growing market leading manufacturer in Rotherham who are looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer to join their team.

Assistant Buyer Duties:

• Effective planning, purchasing, and expediting
• Generating purchase orders
• Keeping track of stock and manage budgets effectively
• Managing the order book and scheduling
• Maintaining regular communication with other departments to streamline processes
• Maintaining Commodity/ Import codes
• Monitoring quotas
• Reconciliation Deferment accounts
• Reporting to Group
• Admin of import documents /sending to clearing agents
• Managing Container bookings
• General admin office duties

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm flex)

Required skills & experience:

• Strong Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot table at a minimum)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Thrives under pressure, responding quickly to daily challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience of Supply Chain/Purchasing within a manufacturing environment
