About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Support Worker to join our team within an Early Help & Family Engagement Hub. This role involves working closely with children and families with complex needs, providing support to prevent escalation into higher statutory services.
As a Family Support Worker, you will manage a caseload, delivering interventions that create positive change and reduce risk. You will engage with families in both statutory and Early Help settings, ensuring they receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:

Work independently as part of a specialist team, undertaking assessments and reviews.

Act as a key worker for service users, offering guidance in areas such as daily living, social integration, and emotional support.

Develop and implement care and support plans, collaborating with multi-agency professionals.

Provide outreach support, including home visits and community-based interventions.

Maintain accurate records in line with policies and best practices.

Support families in addressing behavioural challenges and vulnerabilities.

Ensure service users understand their rights and available support options.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with:

Experience engaging and working with children and families.

Strong understanding of Early Help Assessments and multi-agency interventions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Ability to work flexibly, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
Qualifications and Requirements:

NQF Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, BTEC, A Levels) or equivalent experience.

Enhanced DBS clearance required.
