We are looking for an Adults Social Worker Level 3/Band J for My Front Door Team.

The My Front Door Team are part of the Learning Disability Transformation Agenda within Rotherham, and work with individuals to promote independence and access to their own front door.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in relation to working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and/or complex needs and, to work with the person to achieve their goals/outcomes and promote independence and autonomy using a person-centred approach.

The team work in partnership with other professionals, organisations/providers, carers and families. You will need experience and knowledge of working with individuals who have a Learning Disability and evidence that you have worked within a multi-disciplinary arena to fully support a person’s needs and outcomes

Ashberry Recruitment would ask that applicants meet the following:

  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
  • Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
  • Possess knowledge of service needs.
  • Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
  • Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
