Role Responsibilities

  • Assessing Level 3 Diplomas in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People’s Workforce, or Management and Team Leading qualifications.
  • Collaborating with learners to ensure the highest standards of training and development.
  • Completing all relevant assessment paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitoring and reporting learner progress, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Working across various Health and Social Care settings, including children’s homes, residential family centres, and supported living accommodations.

Requirements

  • Recognised Assessor Qualification (TAQA/A1/D32/33 or equivalent).
  • Relevant work experience within the Health and Social Care sector, specifically with children, young people, and families.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license and access to own vehicle (with business insurance).
  • Willingness to travel to services in South Yorkshire, the Midlands, and the Northwest.
