We are seeking organised and compassionate SEN Support Staff to join our dedicated team in a school renowned for its inclusive and supportive environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional support to students with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide administrative support to the SEN department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and manage SEN documentation effectively.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for pupils.
- Assist in organising meetings and reviews related to SEN provision, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared.
- Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and compliance with data protection policies.
- Proven experience working with SEN in a similar or transferable role.
- Possession of a valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a compassionate and empathetic approach to student support.
