Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide administrative support to the SEN department to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and manage SEN documentation effectively.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for pupils.
  • Assist in organising meetings and reviews related to SEN provision, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and prepared.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and compliance with data protection policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with SEN in a similar or transferable role.
  • Possession of a valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with a compassionate and empathetic approach to student support.
