Day-to-Day of the SEN Teacher Role:- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the specific needs of students with SEN, ensuring all learning activities are inclusive and accessible.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor the progress of each student, adapting teaching methods to suit their needs.
- Collaborate with other SEN Teachers and support staff to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and well-being among students.
- Proven experience as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role with transferable skills.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
- Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confidence and dedication to go above and beyond in supporting students with special needs.
