Strategic Asset Surveyor

We are seeking a Strategic Asset Surveyor to oversee the Council's land and property assets. This role is crucial for managing our commercial property portfolio, including the sale and acquisition of land and property, and supporting regeneration and development activities aligned with the Council's Strategic Asset Management Plan.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the Council's commercial property portfolio, overseeing the sale and acquisition of land and property.
  • Support regeneration and development activities to align outcomes with the Council's Strategic Asset Management Plan.
  • Conduct property surveys to ensure properties are maintained and utilized effectively.
  • Collaborate with various departments and external partners to achieve strategic goals and enhance property management processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Property-related degree, ideally RICS accredited or on the route to RICS accreditation.
  • Previous experience in property management or surveying is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess property conditions and value.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proven project management skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
