Regional IT CoordinatorRotherham – Site based, Mon - Fri£30,000 - £33,500Elevation IT are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Regional IT Coordinator to oversee and coordinate IT services across our key clients UK sites. This role is perfect for someone with a hands-on technical/Infrastructure background who is looking to transition into a coordination role, managing third-party IT support providers and ensuring smooth IT operations across all sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for external IT service providers, managing relationships, SLAs, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Oversee the regional IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are running efficiently, and coordinating necessary upgrades or repairs with vendors.
- Manage the escalation of complex technical issues to third-party vendors, ensuring they are resolved in line with company standards and timelines.
- Provide input and oversight on technical projects, leveraging your hands-on experience to ensure third-party solutions align with company needs and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and manage regional IT projects, such as system upgrades, installations, and migrations, in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Track and monitor IT service performance, including regular audits of vendor-provided services to ensure compliance with contracts and SLAs.
- Liaise between regional users and third-party vendors to ensure users are receiving high-quality IT support, with minimal downtime.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on IT systems, third-party contracts, service agreements, and operational procedures.
Skill & Experience:
- Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Experience in managing third-party vendors or service providers in an IT capacity, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting common technical issues, especially in Windows, macOS, and networking/infrastructure environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical problems and collaborate with vendors to find effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to bridge the gap between technical teams, vendors, and non-technical staff.
- Strong project management abilities with experience in coordinating IT initiatives across multiple locations.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed to ensure effective coordination of IT services.
