Job Description:We have an amazing opportunity in Rotherham for an experienced Lecturer in Brickwork to help train the next generation of Brickwork students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in Brickwork across a range of courses.
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons, ensuring they align with curriculum requirements and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment and continuously improve teaching standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during practical sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Brickwork (minimum Level 3 or equivalent).
  • An assessor or verifier qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1).
  • A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
  • Industry experience in brickwork and a passion for passing on skills to the next generation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
