Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Pay –£75- £90

Location – Winchester

Hours - 8am – 3.30PM Temporary full-time

Start – January 2025

HLTA– Primary School in the Winchester Suburbs

A ‘Good’ Primary School with Outstanding features in Winchester are looking for an HLTA to work to support several groups of children in  need of extra support. Groups would be up to 7 children but would need a confident HLTA to deliver a differentiated English and Maths lessons to the children in their care.

The HLTA would need to be available 5 days a week and would need to have experience working with children working below the level expected and supporting self-esteem, a sense of well- being as well as academic levels.

The minimum requirements for this Teaching Assistant role are:-

• Have the right to work in the UK
• 2 Years’ worth of references
• Have an HLTA qualification or a level 3 CACHE
• A current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
