Field Service Engineer

Due to continued growth and heavy investment my client a food machinery manufacturer is seeking Field Service Engineers to work within their UK team.

You will be based in your regional area (North East), attending to emergency breakdowns, servicing of machinery and installations.

Flexibility to travel throughout the UK on occasions maybe required, as well as overnight stays.

The Job

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and repairing a wide range of food manufacturing machinery
• Work as a team during large installation projects
• Provide technical knowledge to assist with machinery demonstrations
• Travel is required daily

The Candidate

We are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Formal and recognised Engineering qualification – a minimum NVQ Level 3
• Strong electrical background including 17th edition certification
• Field service engineering experience is advantageous
• Experience working for a FMCG manufacture (Food, Pharmaceutical, Packaging)
• Strong communication skills and customer service skills
