Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a large logistics company on the appointment of anenthusiasticAccounts Clerkto join theirfinance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates with little or limited experience to develop their skills and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure financial data is up to date.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring all records are well-documented.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
  • Help with the preparation for audits and assist with any financial queries.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial requirements.
  • Respond in a timely manner to queries relating to sales and purchase invoices.

Skills & Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately and manage deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required. Full training will be provided.
