Following internal promotion, Elite Vehicle Supplies Ltd are looking for a dynamic, self motivated and hard working Service Manager to join our team. Elite are a leading provider of bus safety solutions in the UK.

Position: Service Manager

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm based at our Stokesley office

Salary: £35,000 per annum

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, self motivated and organised individual with a genuine passion for providing OUTSTANDING customer service. We are looking for someone with the following qualities;

Exceptional communication skills; liaising with a wide range of customers and colleagues

Excellent IT skills including experience with processing key information and maintaining databases to an incredibly high standard

Ability to build positive and strong working relationships with a varied range of customers and colleagues

A high level of self motivation

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

Strong workload management skills

Demonstrate excellent initiative and good judgement in a busy environment

Ability to work in a methodical manner which maximises efficiency at all times

A warm, professional, efficient and friendly manner with all staff, suppliers, colleagues and customers via all communication platforms including phone and email

A team player who is keen to support colleagues

Responsibilities and Duties:

As Service Manager, you will report directly into our Operations Director and you will;

Work collaboratively on the organisation of multiple service contracts and projects

Coordinate service work, time limited project work alongside engineers and managing stock

You will prioritise customer service, experience and engagement at all times

Plan and schedule engineer work in an organised manner but with the ability to adjust priorities to accommodate last minute changes to scheduled work

Ensure strict deadlines are met

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Track open projects, ensuring proper management and adherence to manufacturing timescales.

Manage engineer stock effectively and proactively

Process paperwork including engineer job sheets effectively and to a high, accurate standard at all times.

Qualifications/experience;

Proven experience in a service, coordination or management role (ideally 3 years of experience)

Experience of working in a fast paced environment and successfully managing a busy workload

Experience of managing multiple services or projects at one time, successfully balancing changing priorities

Experience of working within the bus and coach industry would be an advantage but not essential

Experience of working with engineers or within the bus and coach industry would be an advantage but not essential

Experience with ISO:9001 processes would be an advantage but not essential
