We are delighted to be working in partnership with a multi-national market leader in search of a passionate and capable Customer Service Team Leader. As a CS Team leader you will be responsible for leading a small team of customer service adviser's focusing on delivering excellence, advising on best practice and leading by example.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and organises Customer Service team ensuring all processes are adequately covered and service is at least at agreed level. Leads daily meeting with team.
  • Ensures adequate communication channels are established and maintained to improve and promote
  • Helping support a range of teams inclusive of customer service team, but also warehouse staff and drivers teamwork and workforce motivation.
  • Shares knowledge, experience and information with others.
  • Monitors activities to ensure each person has adequate skills and competence to achieve.
  • Adapts approach/style of interaction depending on the people and/or situation.
  • Identifies staff shortages when they occur and arranges appropriate cover.
  • Works in collaboration with others to achieve own and team objectives.
  • Seeks staff feedback, listens to concerns and takes appropriate action.
  • Commits to decisions made with the team.
  • Ensures personal involvement in motivating, coaching and supporting their team.
  • Provides regular feedback and recognition.

About you?

  • Customer Service experience
  • Team Leader / Supervisor or similar experience
  • Confident and clear communication skills across all contact channels
  • Demonstrated ability of working within a fast paced, customer facing environment, maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Capable of prioritising workload and solving problems
  • Able to remain focused in a busy telephone and retail environment
  • Willingness to learn about industry, products, customer and agent requirements
  • Driving license and access to a vehicle, as you will be required to visit other nearby locations such as Gateshead
