Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be the sole Geotechnical Engineer, leading a range of geotechnical projects across the marine and offshore industries. This position offers flexible working arrangements, including site, office, or home-based options, providing you with autonomy to manage your projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical analysis and design for marine and offshore projects.
  • Lead and manage projects, liaising directly with clients and overseeing project teams.
  • Supervise and coordinate ground investigations and geological assessments.
  • Perform water geotechnical analysis.
  • Engage with professional organizations such as the ICE, Geological Society, and SUT.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on seabed mapping.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as ArcGIS, Global Mapper, PLAXIS, and GRL WEAP.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Progressing towards chartership or already chartered with a recognized professional body.
