Join our fantastic clients Major Structural Defects team as a Building Surveyor in Middlesbrough. This role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You will be involved in a variety of surveying tasks, focusing on structural and fire damage works, as well as addressing issues related to damp and mould.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work as part of the Structural Defects team to deliver a customer-focused and right-first-time surveying service.
  • Lead on insurance work related to fire and structurally damaged properties.
  • Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work.
  • Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds.
  • Produce high-quality written technical reports and detailed drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Building Surveying degree or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations and experience applying this knowledge in practice.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in undertaking a range of building surveys.
