Join our fantastic clients Major Structural Defects team as a Building Surveyor in Middlesbrough. This role offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. You will be involved in a variety of surveying tasks, focusing on structural and fire damage works, as well as addressing issues related to damp and mould.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work as part of the Structural Defects team to deliver a customer-focused and right-first-time surveying service.
- Lead on insurance work related to fire and structurally damaged properties.
- Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work.
- Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds.
- Produce high-quality written technical reports and detailed drawings.
- Building Surveying degree or significant experience in a similar role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations and experience applying this knowledge in practice.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in undertaking a range of building surveys.
