Sellick Partnership are currently assisting a reputable and ever growing social housing association in the recruitment for a Building Surveyor based in Tees Valley.

The Building Surveyor will cover a variety of surveying tasks, working as part of the Major Structural Defects (MSD) team covering both structural and fire damage works, as well as supporting on damp and mould.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:

  • Work as part of a team to deliver a customer focused and right first-time surveying service
  • Lead on insurance work in relation to fire and structurally damaged properties
  • Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work
  • Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds

Requirements of the Building Surveyor:

  • Building Surveying degree or able to demonstrate significant experience
  • Up to date knowledge of CDM regulations
