The RoleNigel Wright are delighted to support their client with their search for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join their team.The successful candidate will carry out a variety of surveying tasks on residential properties and assets across their portfolio.  Within a housing association, a Stock Controller Surveyor is responsible for managing the inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment projects. Their role ensures that maintenance teams have the right materials at the right time, helping to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake surveys to take into account stock condition and the health and safety rating system.
  • Accurately assess, rate and collect property information, in line with programme requirements and plans.
  • Complete energy efficiency surveys and produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
  • Carry out detailed stock condition surveys, technical due diligence surveys and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide timely reports and/or certification for teams across the organisation
The PersonSkills/Attributes:
  • Previous experience as a Domestic Energy Assessor or Surveyor. If you’ve worked within social housing, this would be a bonus
  • An Accredited HHSRS Assessor and Accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
  • A sound knowledge of building regulations, disabled access, fire, CDM, and health and safety legislation.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to produce good quality technical reports.
