Commercial Manager - Freelance (Outside IR35)
On-site delivering a new battery storage facility in Middlesborough over the 12 - 18 months.
- Location: Middlesborough, Northeast
- Salary: £500 - £550 (Outside IR35) per day
Role Description:The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an M&E contractor who has been awarded the installation of a new Power station based in Middlesborough, Northeast. At present we are mobilising a team to deliver the programme over the next 12 - 18 months, hence looking for a temporary/freelance contractor to support the delivery of the scheme. Your duties will vary depending on the programme of works but could include:
- Work closely with the operational team and work with relevant pre-construction teams to maximise opportunities and profitability in the delivery phase of projects.
- Ensure that Take-Offs of all Construction Drawings to record and manage any changes on an ongoing basis throughout the project cycle are being carried out by Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor.
- Prepare in-house monthly commercial reports and ensure complete control over all commercial aspects of the project.
- Approval and management of sub-contractors' accounts throughout the project.
- Monitor and analyse project delivery status with project leadership teams.
- Mentor all personnel under your direction to enhance their capability and performance.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration and close-out relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
- Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
- Full UK Driving Licence
