Teaching Assistant

Your new companyWe are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school team on a temporary basis until October half-term with possible extension. For this job, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to students. You will be working with children of all ages and abilities, helping them to develop their literacy and numeracy skills. For this role, strong literacy skills are essential. Your new role- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons- Support students with special educational needs- Help students to develop their literacy and numeracy skills- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional help- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment- Assist with administrative tasks as requiredWhat you'll need to succeed- Strong literacy skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team- Patient and caring nature- A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential- Experience of working with children is preferableWhat you'll get in return
