    • Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley), including HMI's.
    • Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems, variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, and speed feedback devices.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist the engineering team in conducting preventative and reactive maintenance.
    • Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, ensuring adherence to safe working procedures.
    • Provide first-line technical expertise to identify and rectify faults, minimising plant downtime.
    • Collaborate with relevant peers to suggest and implement improvements to process control systems.
    • Ensure high-quality work, promptly repairing any deficiencies to prevent recurrence.
  • This role operates on a shift pattern, working 12-hour days and nights, with 2 days on, 2 nights on, and 4 days off.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer opportunity to join the Engineering team in Hartlepool on behalf of our client. This role entails providing first-line expertise to manufacturing areas as part of a small, multi-disciplined engineering team.

Position: Plant Shift Maintenance Electrician

Location: Hartlepool days and nights
